Blogmas day 17: Birthday nails NOTD!

Now for today's post! The rest will be on time ;) I thought I'd do a quick post to show you my birthday nails. 

As its my 21st on Monday (can't contain my excitement) I wanted something a bit special done. So I went to my local nail salon and had acrylic nails done. I had them with a clear tip and then painted over so that I can change the colour of them still whenever I want too.

I went for baby pink with a gold half moon at the base! I love them and have had so many compliments already. 

Made me so much more excited for my birthday!

Blogmas Day 13: The Christmas Tag!

I love a tag post and I saw this on makeupsavvy.co.uk from lasyt year so thought I would give it a go.

1. What is your favourite Christmas movie?
Elf and White Christmas. Elf is such a fun and festive movie for the whole family and I love white Christmas because I always remember watching it with my mum growing up.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning? 
Christmas morning when everyone is up and sat round the tree. I really love Christmas morning and just chilling in our PJs while we open our presents with the dogs running round.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory? 
Just every year when I was little 'Santa' would always leave present on the end of our bed so I'd try to stay awake long enough to see him. The excitement was the best feeling.

4. Favourite festive food? 
Turkey dinner. The full works. Best thing ever.

5. Favourite Christmas gift? 
Pj's, slippers and cosy stuff like that. You can't go wrong with a bit of makeup though.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
Anything cinnamon scented. I literally could smell that scent all the time.

7. Do you have any Christmas eve traditions? I always like to have my tea then have a soak in the bath, have a hot chocolate and watch the soaps. Then I'll go to bed early and watch a movie.

8. What tops your tree?
A star.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy,wild,extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received? 
I don't remember ever really asking for anything wild and crazy. I was a really girly girl as I am now so I'd always ask for dolls, prams, barbie etc...

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you? 
Being around family and spoiling the most important people in my life. I really go over the top present wise for my closest friends and family but in my opinion they deserve it and I love seeing their faces when they open their presents.

I can't believe its the 7th December already. Exactly 2 weeks until my 21st birthday and 18 days until Christmas. Today I thought I'd bring you a post on my favourite glitter polishes that tend to get a lot of wear this time of year. 

Blogmas day 6: blogmas post ideas.

I love blogmas and reading peoples festive posts. However I know it can be quite difficult to think up post ideas for the 25 days. I thought I'd compile a list of post ideas. These are posts I enjoy reading but they may give you some ideas. 

1. Wishlists - I love seeing what other people are wanting. I discover items that I end up wanting. Its a good way for other people to find things to put on their Christmas list. 
2. Easy nail art - I love having nice nails but I'm so rubbish at nail art so I love posts that show me how to do some easy designs. 
3. Gift guides - I love reading gift guide posts. They are so useful when you don't know what to get someone. They give you such good ideas. 
4. Tag posts - tag posts are such an easy post to do. If you can't find one why not make your own? 
5. Recipes - do you know any christmassy recipes? I'd love to see them. 
6. Top 5 lipsticks/nail polishes etc for the Christmas season. - shop your stash and show us what your favourite products are.  
7. Christmas traditions - do you have any Christmas traditions that you do in the few days leading up to Christmas/on Christmas Day. 
8. Favourite things about Christmas - what do you love the most about Christmas? List your top 5/10
9. Favourite Christmas movies. - what are your favourite Christmas films of all time? List them and give us some ideas of films we should watch! 
10. Party outfit ideas - Christmas time brings lots of parties to the calendar. Show some outfit ideas maybe under a certain budget? 
11. Festive makeup looks - I always want my makeup to look abit different and festive over Christmas especially for parties but never know how to do it. Ideas and tips would be fab.

Blogmas Day 5: My Christmas Jumper Picks!

There are some really nice christmas jumpers on the market this year. I thought i'd share a few of my favourites with you! 

Blogmas Day 4: No7 Advent Calendar Days 1,2,3 & 4

I was so excited this year when I purchased the No7 advent calendar. It's the first beauty calendar i've had and I just couldn't wait for December to start so I could see what goodies were inside! I thought i'd share with you what was behind each door!

Day 1: Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Day Cream 25ml
I'm yet to try any of the No7 skincare so I'm super excited to try this out. The size is generous too so definitely gives you enough to get a good feel of it.

Day 2: Beautiful Skin Blissful Body Wash 50ml.
I can't wait to use this. A generous 50ml body wash. Would be perfect to take travelling with you.

Day 3: Instant Illusions Airbrush Away Primer 10ml
I'm always on the lookout for a good primer so looking forward to trying this out.

Day 4: Beautiful Skin radiance exfoliator 
I'm interested too try this. It's not something I'd go and pick up for myself.
